Sector coverage spans solar PV, wind, battery energy storage, biogas and biomethane, cogeneration and energy efficiency, alongside social and core infrastructure including gas distribution, port concessions, parking and hospital PPP.
Prothea has executed transactions totalling approximately EUR 3.7 billion over the last five years.
The firm combines financial advisory with deep sectorial understanding having supported the development of some leading renewable companies: Altenia, an EPC, IPC and O&M of medium and high voltage infrastructure and photovoltaic plants, in which Terna acquired a majority stake in 2021; Limes Renewable Energy, a global developer with a successful track record of more than 800MWp exited across several jurisdictions and Symbiosis, an EPC and O&M platform dedicated to biogas, biomethane and cogeneration.
